Times Higher Education is the new journal which was earlier known as The Times Higher Education Supplement.The Library subscribes to the print version of the journal.

IGNOU Library has membership of the following institutions:

NASSDOC,New Delhi
The faculty members may avail of reading ,reference and lending facilities of the above mentioned libraries. The interested faculty members may take library cards of these libraries from IGNOU Library counter before visiting them.

Library Facilities for the retired staff of IGNOU

We are pleased to inform you that IGNOU Library has extended the circulation facilities to the retired staff of the University.

In order to avail the facility, the interested members are required to follow the under mentioned rules:

A security deposit of Rs.3000 /-should be paid by DD at the Library circulation counter. The Demand Draft should be in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi.

The membership forms available at the Library counter should be duly filled in, forwarded by the Registrar (Admin)/Director (ACD) and submitted to the Librarian, L&DD, IGNOU.

The readers can get issued two (2) books from the General Collection for a period of a month only. The same books can be renewed for another month, not beyond it.

All books must be returned on or before the due date.

Overdue charges are charged for the late returning of the books at the rates mentioned below:

Re1 per day for the first ten days.
After 10 days Rs 5 per day until the book is returned.

In case of book loss or damage, the borrowers are required either to replace or pay the cost of the book.

The retired staff are requested to come forward and avail of the Library facilities.
